Excellent location, beautiful building, modest room, clean place, hair dryer should be taken at reception.

Old plumbing, room looks like a hospital ward.

The hotel is clean, with amicable personal, and offers incredible and amazing location just next door to a nice area of the city, the oldtown and the centre and train station

On the whole, everything's fine. It's an excellent value for money.

It's a little tight in the room.

Cochs pensjonat is in a lovely building close to the royal palace and national museum. It's in a fancy area with cafes and bars nearby. They also offered a nice discount for breakfast at the cafe downstairs. The room was spacious and included a small kitchen, a great perk.

Clean place with pleasant views and good location in a charming alleyway. Easy check-in, late check-out, amicable staff. Delicious meals with warm drinks.

The location was good, walkable to the city center. We had wi-fi in our room. The staff was great. Bed and bathroom were fine. Unfortunately, no breakfast is offered. Oslo is expensive (!) and this place was seemingly our best option. I would go there again.

charming old building, proximity to Royal Palace Gardens, easy access to tram station

The lack of basic toiletries and a kettle in the room leaves much to be desired!!! The noise from the street and thin walls made for a less than peaceful night. Improving these aspects would enhance the overall experience!!!

The location is great, directly across the street from the grounds of the palace. The area is really nice and has a very neighborhood-like feel. (We highly recommend the Rust restaurant across the street and down the alley!) The room was totally adequate, with comfortable beds, clean sheets, extra chairs, a working TV, small stove top and sink, and en suite bath. If you're looking for something with design flair, this is much closer to a hostel and won't meet your needs. The bathroom is one of those everything-in-one-spot baths where the only thing separating the shower from the sink was the curtain, but it was perfectly acceptable for the one night we stayed there. All in all, the hotel was nothing special, but the location was nice and the price was right.

The parking situation was a bit awkward, as the hotel is located on the corner of a relatively busy intersection and there was nowhere to stop and unload the car (without risking a ticket). We managed to find free street parking one street over which saved us from paying for the car park, but it wasn't the most accomodating situation.

Great location, close to the city centre, main shopping street, bus and tram. The availability of a fridge and small cooking facilities in the room was of great benefit. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

The historic charm of Cochs Pensjonat. The spacious common areas, coupled with easy accessibility, allowed me to enjoy my time without any hurdles. The staff were attentive and always ready to assist.

A few more power outlets would be helpful.

Close to shoping areas but not to subway.

We stayed on the street side and it was very noisy till 1- 2 in the morning. No heating during the night so I will not reccomend it for families with children.
